Concussion Awareness
Under Rowan's Law, before any player can be registered for the Youth Team tryouts, the player, and the parent or legal guardian of the player if the player is under 18 years of age, must review one of the Concussion Education Resources provided by the Province of Ontario and must review the Player Code of Conduct. I hereby confirm that: (1) the player being registered to participate in baseball activities with Baseball Ontario, and the parent or legal guardian of the player being registered if the player is under 18 years of age, have reviewed one of the concussion education resources provided by the Province of Ontario as referenced above and (2) agree to comply with the player code of conduct(s) as referenced above. I / we further acknowledge understanding the nature and risk of concussion and head injury to athletes, including the risks of continuing to play after a concussion or head injury is suspected.
Tryout Options:
Players can choose from 2 dates/locations for tryouts, and must attend one of them. In addition, the final selection camp will take place May 16-18, 2025 at Vaughan Grove Sports Park.

Parent/Guardian Information
Parental Consent:
All players must have permission from their parent/legal guardian in order to register and participate in the Youth Team Tryouts. In addition, by confirming consent, the parent/legal guardian acknowledges that Baseball Ontario may publish general information about players including, but not limited to, the player's name, playing statistics, photograph(s) etc., as this information relates to the Youth Team Tryouts and the National Youth Tournament. By checking the box below, the parent/legal guardian confirms that he/she has read all the information provided regarding the Youth Team Tryouts (including the Baseball Ontario waivers) and agrees with same.
Payment info:
The tryout fee is $249, payable by:
- PayPal (choose "pay now" below to be redirected to PayPal to pay online with a credit card)
- E-Transfer (choose "submit now and pay later")
- Cheque (choose "submit now and pay later")
- Visa or MasterCard over the phone during regular business hours (choose "submit now and pay later")
Please note, if you choose PayPal and click "pay now" but do not finish the transaction, we will not receive the registration and it will need to be re-submitted.
Registration is not complete and your spot will not be reserved until both the registration form and payment are received.
Details for e-transfer, cheque or payment by phone will be included in the confirmation email that will be sent to the email address provided for the parent/guardian.
