OBA Umpires Committee
The OBA Umpires Committee is a dedicated, volunteer group that works tirelessly to promote and support umpire development in Ontario. The Committee develops and implements the following initiatives:
- Level 1 and 2 Program - delivery of umpire camps and online training modules
- Level 3 Program – SuperCamps, online training, on-field evaluation opportunities
- Accelerated Adult Umpire Training Program
- Level 4/5 Baseball Canada National Umpires Program
- Female Umpire Development Program
- Elimination Tournaments - umpire and supervisor assignment
- Make the Right Call – online webinar series
- Local Association Support – UIC training and umpire development support
- Ongoing Education – rules training via OnDeck app and other resources
- Umpire Clinician Training – selection, training, and assigning of umpire clinicians
- Supervisor Training – selection and implementation of the Baseball Canada Senior Course Conductor Pathway
